		<description>I agree.  I thought it was a little odd when the neighbors across the street started theirs, but it was kind of pretty when their melons started to riped.  I&#039;m sure THEIR neighbors weren&#039;t so pleased when the vines started scooting into their yard.  LOL.  

That being said, I don&#039;t think any of us thought for a second, &quot;THERE!  That&#039;ll teach you big business farmers!&quot;  We were all just happy to have some fresh melons in the neighborhood.

About twenty-five years ago I met a family in a suburban Maryland neighborhood that had a raised bed garden occupying their entire front yard. It did look a little out of place compared to the rest of the development, but it was well kept, tidy, and very productive.</description>
