Comments on: Wildlife and Child friendly Garden Deterrents What's New In The Garden Today! Mon, 20 Oct 2014 01:19:00 +0000 hourly 1 By: Vic Gathergood Wed, 20 Apr 2011 16:26:02 +0000 About 5 years ago I designed a garden for an elderly client who wished to encourage nature into her garden space. Areas of water pools, quick growing hedges and dozens of nesting boxes later the garden was ready to receive all that nature could throw at it. I returned a year afterwards to find only the nesting boxes were left. It seemed that the lady had not reckoned on nature being so territorial and having watched her lawn become a battle ground between opposing species, decided to lessen the attraction :-)

Be careful what you wish for eh ?

All the very best

Vic :-)
